My First Meeting With Wild Horses

book cover

In 2013, I saw wild horses in real life, for the first time. It was huge, for a horse girl like me, a childhood dream coming true. The strong impression made me spend several months that year observing them in the wild, (that’s how I fell in love with the state of Nevada,) and visiting different wild horse sanctuaries. I wanted to learn as much as I possibly could about these amazing creatures. By the end of the year I published a coffee table book with my notes, and photos.

This seems like a lifetime ago now. A lot of things have happened in my life. I don’t have the Equine Photography business I mention as contact info in the book, and my last name isn’t the same. Partly because of those reasons I haven’t been promoting the book since early 2014. I’m still enormously grateful for this experience. It literally changed who I am. So today I thought to myself, I’m going to put it out there. The mustangs are incredible horses. I think more and more people start to realize that now, which is a gigantic step in the right direction.

The purpose of NEVADA MUSTANGS – LIVING SYMBOLS OF THE WEST is to show the beauty of North America’s Wild Horses. The book has more than 160 pages, of the highest photo quality paper there is on the market.

The photos tell a story of proud horses with strong family bonds. An experience that I wish to share with you, my children, and my grand children.
I still get emotional every time I look in the book. Maybe I should of made it differently today, I probably would of (I know more about them today, and I have thousands of more photos,) but this is my genuine first impression of something very unique.

Take a sneak peak inside the book, and order your copy here.

Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything. —Aaron Siskind

Your Christmas gift cold be a double-sided gift, with 50% of the profits going to non-profits, that actively work to improve the situation for our mustangs. Give a unique Coffee Table Book to one of your loved ones, and know that you’re also donating to the plight of the mustangs.

I hope that the Mustangs in this book will touch your heart, as they’ve touched mine.
