Every Saturday I host a gratitude challenge. I share something that I am grateful for, and encourage you to do the same!
For the past year I’ve been living, and spending most of my time in Nevada’s high desert. I really like Nevada’s open landscape, and wild nature. I’ve grown accustomed to the summer’s heat, and overall very dry climate. (Almost killed my Scandinavian hair. I’ve been forced to cut off a lot off it, and will probably lose some more dry ends before it’s over..lol.)
However, today I’m grateful for a break in the routine. I’ve been spending some time in California, and it’s been raining a lot. Everything is super lush, and green. California have been fighting a severe drought, and it’s like nature is waking up after a long sleep. I’m grateful to see this sudden outburst of life, after the long drought. It’s certainly a big difference!
Rain is grace; rain is the sky descending to the earth; without rain, there would be no life. – John Updike
Sunshine is delicious, rain is refreshing, wind braces us up, snow is exhilarating; there is really no such thing as bad weather, only different kinds of good weather. – John Ruskin
I would love it, if you would join my Gratitude Challenge! Write about something you are grateful for, tag your post MJP Gratitude Challenge, and share.
Have an amazing Saturday!
