My Organic Garden

We’ve had a couple days of light rain in Northern California, and my garden is very happy!

In time for Halloween these pumpkins are going to be ready to carve! You could tell this is pumpkins, right?

When planting the garden I arranged the empty seed envelopes on a counter, in the order my daughter and I planted them (to be able to write it down when we got back inside.) When I looked the other way, she decided that it would be a fun game to rearrange them in a color theme..I know this is pumpkins, and I know the contents of some of the other garden beds, but not all 21..it’s going to be interesting seeing them grow! I might ask you to help me figure out what things are later on 🙂

This is my entry to the Weekly Photo Challenge: Earth, at The Daily Post.

On this day, between the global Earth Day celebration, and Mother’s Day in the United States, share your vision of our glorious Mother Earth.

I love everything outdoors, but my garden is a close connector to Mother Earth.

Love & Light, Always

Maria

    Kram!

  2. Wow, your plants are growing! Fantastic! Mother Earth…um…My thoughts are well expressed via this “Sooner or later, we will have to recognize that the Earth has rights, too, to live without pollution. What mankind must know is that human beings cannot live without Mother Earth, but the planet can live without humans”. Do you think it’s a bit cruel?

    • You are absolutely right Ann! It seems to me like most of us are to busy to remember that in our every day life. I think a change have to start with our attitude, starting with the education system. It’s not going to be solve over night, but there is a lot we can do.
