Kindness – Sharing A Smile

Icelandic Horse Canvas Print featuring the photograph Winter by Maria Jansson

A warm smile is the universal language of kindness. – William Arthur Ward

Have you ever tried to see how many people you can get a smile from in a day? I’m  not talking about people you know (even though that is awesome as well,) but strangers that you meet in your day to day life, at the grocery store, at work, during a walk with the dog etc. Smiling is like magic! Medicine to our souls. Why not give it a try today? Who knows, maybe that stranger you share a smile with today really needs it?

Have a blessed day!

  1. I could not agree more. A smile shatters that force field that people don when they leave the house. It costs nothing but is worth more than any money. And it makes me feel so good too. What’s to lose?

  2. There is nothing like that instant of connection when a random smile is offered and then returned. Thanks for the reminder.

  3. Hi Maria!

I am one of Danny’s partners too, and it is a pleasure to discover your blog! Your pictures are beautiful and I love the idea of counting smiles you get from strangers 🙂 I’ll try to pay attention to that next time I walk around town! Such an easy and free way to put a little bit of sunshine in other people’s lives 🙂

Loving it? Or not? Let me know!
